End of Jan Update: Exciting Progress on the Journey – Dual Boards in Production & Shipping Timeline Taking Shape!

We're making steady, exciting strides toward getting 3 Magi into your hands. Thank you for riding along on this journey with so much patience and enthusiasm – your support means the world to us at Bedouin Games!

🌍 International Hubs– A solid batch of your games has already arrived safely at the key fulfillment hubs around the world! If you're in one of these regions, your copy is queued up and will ship out as soon as the they are released. As promised with the US being a priority

✨ Quality First – The Packing Pause

We attempted a early wave of base game shipments, but discovered 29 mispacked copies during checks. Rather than risk sending out anything less than perfect, we paused deliveries immediately to review and tighten the process. That extra care is now paying dividends – the remaining games are lined up for final preview/packing verification right now. We're making sure every single box is accurate before it heads out.

If you do not get a base game by Feb 17, the shipping rates were too high to justify fulfillment. We are very prudent with the funds and would not be able to afford shipment cost that would exceed both the pledge and shipment. Those backers will get the full pledge after ocean freight is complete. 

⚙️ Production 

The new dual boards are deep in manufacturing. Over the Chinese New Year (CNY) period, they'll undergo critical pressure and heat treatment to ensure they're perfectly flat, sturdy, Factories slow down for the holiday, but this timing is actually ideal – it gives the boards the exact curing process they need to be top-notch.

Once CNY wraps, we shift into high gear: full packing of the deluxe box, final quality inspections, and then straight to ocean freight for the voyage to our fulfillment centers. We're optimistic and tracking everything closely!

📦 General Fulfillment & Your Pledge Items

For the rest of the backers (including all those awesome add-ons, upgrades, and extras), everything is on track for the main fulfillment wave alongside the ocean freight shipments. 

We'll share a much clearer, concrete timeline (estimated shipping windows and all!) by the end of next month when we're right at the ocean freight stage and can lock in the logistics schedule.

‼️ Missing items for the 29 backers

Here’s exactly what was missing from your copy (confirmed during our quality checks):

• 1 rulebook page
• 8 reference cards (2 per player)
• 6 merchant cards

These components are being produced right now as a separate, dedicated replacement run. Once they’re printed, finished, packaged, and ready, we will mail them directly to you at no cost and with tracked shipping. You won’t need to send anything back—we’re handling everything.

✅ Next steps & timeline

We haven’t sent individual emails yet because we’re waiting for the factory to complete the final ~800 image reviews in our packing quality control process. So far they’ve already reviewed 10,000+ images, and the remaining portion should be fully finished before Chinese New Year wraps up.

As soon as that final batch is signed off (ensuring the entire production run is rock-solid), we’ll:

1. Finalize and produce your replacement kits
2. Send you a personalized email with confirmation and tracking info

You’ll hear from us very soon after CNY—likely within the next few weeks once the QC is complete.

Regarding the missing Merchant cards issue:

We've identified that 29 backers received copies missing 6 Merchant cards. A huge thank you to backer N. Williams for helping us pinpoint this specific batch, along with honorable mentions to Brent Stoddard and sigmazero13. By coordinating with shipping carriers, we were able to trace and confirm the affected games.

To those 29 backers: You should receive an email from us very shortly! The factory has acknowledged the error on their end, and they will be manufacturing and shipping the replacement Merchant cards directly to you. All other base game copies were not impacted by this issue.

As always, we order extra components for every print run to cover situations like this. If you notice anything missing or incorrect in your copy, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected] . We'll get it sorted and ship replacements as soon as our stock arrives.

Happy New Year!

I hope 2026 is off to an amazing start for all of you. Thank you so much for your incredible support — it's because of this amazing community that we've made it this far!

As many of you know, our fulfillment process has been a bit unconventional to get rewards into your hands as quickly as possible. We prioritized shipping out the base games first so that more backers could start enjoying the core experience sooner.

Here's the current status:

• Many backers have already received their base games — and we're thrilled to hear the positive feedback rolling in!
• Base game shipments are still ongoing as of today (January 10, 2026). We're sending them directly through multiple carriers to optimize speed and cost.
• Worldwide shipping timelines naturally vary depending on your location, carrier routes, customs processing, and local postal services. What might arrive quickly in one region could take a bit longer in another — this is completely normal for international fulfillment.

Important note for anyone still waiting on their base game

If you haven't received your base game by the beginning of February, don't worry — we'll be bundling it together with your deluxe components (or any remaining upgrades/add-ons) in the next major wave.

This combined shipment is happening for one of two practical reasons:

• A transit or tracking issue made a separate send-out inefficient or risky.
• Shipping the base game alone would have been prohibitively expensive for that particular order (especially for international backers), so we're consolidating to save on costs and reduce the number of packages.

Our goal is always to deliver everything safely, efficiently, and with the least hassle possible for you. Bundling in these cases helps us achieve that while keeping things moving forward.

We'll keep posting regular updates here (with photos, tracking examples where possible, and any news on the deluxe wave) so you always know what's happening. If you have questions about your specific order, feel free to reply to this update or message us directly — we're here and happy to help!

Last week we audited the shipment, specifically the deluxe boxes we audited and we noted that the Dual board are misprinted. Dual boards Reprint started, they should be finished printing and will be packaged by the end this upcoming week. After we should be ready for ocean freight 

This wave includes:

• Deluxe Edition (with Myrrh & Frankincense)
• The Expansion
• Additional base game copies

These are scheduled to arrive by Mid Feb 2026. We’ll have precise sailing and ETA dates as soon as production wraps up and the containers are loaded.

EU, UK, and Rest-of-World (Spiral + VFI hubs) 🌎

Update to ETA pending

Shipping Timeline 🚢 ✈️

1. Base Game – Air Freight (arriving first)

(No change to fulfillment schedule)

• Expected delivery to you: December 25 – January 15 (technically 23rd but all post offices will be closed). (Please keep in mind possible weather or holiday-related delays – we’re optimistic, but these dates are not 100% guaranteed.)
• 🚨 You should not be charged a tariff, since games are coming individually this may happen for some of you contact us at [email protected] with 3 Magi in the subject line.
• 🚨 As the games start trickling into the US they will come in at different dates for different backers, because this is not a traditional fulfillment center shipment

2. Ocean Freight (larger shipment)

This wave includes:

• Deluxe Edition (with Myrrh & Frankincense)
• The Expansion
• Additional base game copies

These are scheduled to arrive by end of January 2026. We’ll have precise sailing and ETA dates as soon as production wraps up and the containers are loaded.

Preorders ordered after Dec 18th

We wanted to clarify the timeline for the remaining shipments:

• All preorders placed on or before December 18th, along with any replacement parts or missing items from earlier waves, are included in our current main shipment and are on track for delivery in January 2026.
• Preorders placed after December 18th will be fulfilled with our next production run, arriving in February 2026.
